VICTOR P. LEBEDOVYCH, DDS

Dr. Lebedovych was born in Texas and grew up in Michigan. He received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Alma College and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan. His educational journey continued with a residency in Hospital Dentistry at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Lebedovych also completed an anesthesia fellowship with the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Carle Foundation Hospital (an University of Illinois affiliated hospital) in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Lebedovych is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Associations of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Dr. Lebedovych is a proficient and meticulous surgeon that places an emphasis on making his patients feel comfortable and informed. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the South Carolina Dental Society. He has donated his skills and time to “Give a Kid a Smile” and Operation New Life in Honduras. Dr. Lebedovych is now on staff at both Greenville Hospital System and St. Francis Health System. In his spare time he and his wife Karen enjoy, boating, working out at the gym, and playing with his son and his Great Dane, Max.

In addition to honing his surgical skills, Dr. Lebedovych stays current by founding and chairing the Greenville Area Journal Club. The focus of this group is to review current scientific articles and to keep abreast of the new techniques and research in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
